More news! More excitement! 10 years and going strong for another 10... or 50.... or 100! Welcome all to Harrisburg Keystone Rotary Club.
 This week a report from a world traveler: Sarah Thomas! Sarah traveled to Slovakia and the Czech Republic with the Group Study Exchange program and will be sharing her experience with the club tonight! Also, our friends from Florida, Jim and Carol Nelson will be visiting to tell us how much they miss us! See you tonight! 
This week, Harrisburg Keystone will participate in National Night Out in Steelton. National Night Out, an annual community-building campaign to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie, began in 1984. It now involves more than 38.1 million people and 16,540 communities from all 50 states, U.S. Territories, Canadian cities and U.S. military bases worldwide. At our last meeting, our President Addeline Edwards presented her goals for the club for the year... which include:
 A new and wonderful addition for this Rotary year is the return of our newsletter, which had been on sabbatical in the jungles of the Amazon searching for inner peace. Our most recent newsletters are here!
Let’s embrace literacy by collecting gently used books to redistribute at the National Night Out in Steelton. Last year we distributed close to 160 books in 2 hours! Adult, teen and children’s books are welcome, as are current reference books. A few people are needed prior to August 4th to help sort books by age level and package for transport to National Night Out. Please let Marci know if you are available to help. Books can be brought to the meetings throughout July. If you have large quantities of books, contact Marci for discussion. This year the event is held at Mohn Street Park, located at Mohn St and south 3rd Street in the Borough of Steelton, from 6-8 PM. Learn more about National Night Out here!  Thank you to everyone who participated in today's Pint 5k Run to raise money for community service projects in the Harrisburg area.
